We'd like to say huge congratulations to Rebecca Rothney, founder of Pack For Purpose who has been named National Geographic's Traveler of the Year.

Pack of a Purpose is a wonderful initiative, which is very close to our hearts at Calabash. We ask our guests to save just a little room in their luggage to bring supplies for Grenada's children's homes. We have been overwhelmed with the response and can't thank Rebecca and her team enough for the introduction.

We have collected hundreds of kilos of supplies which we have distribute between the following homes and schools in Grenada:

The Bel Air Children's Home (Boys & Girls aged 0 -18)
The Dorothy Hopkin Centre for the Disabled (Boys & Girls aged 0 -18)
The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children (Boys & Girls aged 0 -18)
• The Father Mullaghan's Home for Boys (Boys aged 10 -18)
• The Emergency Shelter for Children (Primarily girls aged 0 -18 and some boys 0 - 5)
Programme for Adolescent Mothers (Primarily girls aged 0 -18 and some boys 0 - 5)
• The Telescope School

We we’d also like to thank our wonderful guests who support that programme. Each and everyone on of you are making a huge difference to Grenada, and there are no words to describe our gratitude.
